Tell Governor and Attorney General: Stop Duke Energy’s Sneak Attack on Solar!
As explained in our news release and the May 11 letter from over 70 businesses and nonprofits to Governor Roy Cooper and Attorney General Josh Stein, Duke Energy is trying to quietly change the rules for nonresidential net metering by slipping the changes into its huge rate case. This attack is coupled with Duke Energy’s attempts to squash residential rooftop solar; most recently, Duke Energy leaders appear to have left grossly incomplete a crucial payback calculator needed by solar companies.
