Join National Nurses United, the NC Data Center Network, AAUP NC, and others as they speak out about the protections health care workers, patients, educators, students, and communities in North Carolina need from AI.

Where: In front of the North Carolina General Assembly at 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh
Why: On July 1, Governor Josh Stein announced his North Carolina AI Leadership Council’s AI Strategic Roadmap, a guide with goals and principles on the potential impact of AI on how people live and work in North Carolina. The voices of many North Carolinians weren’t part of this important process and weren’t part of making recommendations about how to prepare for this fast-moving technology and the energy needed to fuel it.
