PITTSBORO SCREENING: “The True Cost of Power” Documentary
Join us at the 2026 Climate Solutions Fair, hosted by the Haw River Assembly, on Saturday, May 30th, from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM at The Plant (220 Lorax Ln, Pittsboro, NC) for a day of exploration and fun. Free parking is available on-site, and leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed outside.
Enjoy local food and drinks while you explore the Chatham Beverage District, including:
- Craft beer from bmc brewing
- Wines and ciders from Starrlight Mead
- Spirits from Fair Game Beverage Company
- Sake from Koshu Sake
- Food from Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento
The event will also feature live music, hands-on demonstrations, fun kid activities, guided tours, and a film screening + panel discussion of the short NC WARN documentary, The True Cost of Power: Duke Energy’s Climate Deception. The screening and discussion will take place from 1-2 PM, in the Wheelhouse Room in Fair Game Beverage Company.
