HILLSBOROUGH SCREENING: “The True Cost of Power” Documentary
Join NC WARN on Thursday, April 9th, from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Orange County Main Public Library (137 W Margaret Ln, Hillsborough, NC 27278) and be a part of the 2026 Hillsborough Climate Challenge! This event will feature a short screening and discussion of the film: The True Cost of Power: Duke Energy’s Climate Deception. The documentary spotlights voices from prominent scientists, journalists and community leaders, and will introduce an NC WARN campaign to finally get our state on the right side of the climate emergency.
The Hillsborough Climate Challenge hosts events and presentations throughout the month of April that offer practical solutions and information for individual and community climate action. Attend as many events as possible and learn how to make ‘Every Day Earth Day.’ Let’s commit to making Hillsborough and our communities Better Stronger Greener!
