The Atlantic Coast Pipeline would bring fracked gas through Virginia and eastern North Carolina. It would endanger communities, homes, farms, wetlands and rivers. It would contribute enormously to climate change and to extreme weather events like Hurricane Matthew, which devastated some of the counties the ACP is proposed to pass through. Learn more about the ACP here.

To raise awareness and give citizens an opportunity to speak out, there were walks and rallies in three counties on Nov. 19, 2016. These walks will be followed in the spring of 2017 by a two-week walk along the entire route of the ACP pipeline in North Carolina.
